Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: (1) Patients diagnosed with OSA by the Department of Psychiatry and Psychology (Sleep Medicine Center) of Nanfang Hospital meet the following criteria: (2) Age 18-65 years old; (3) Complete polysomnography and the data are valid; (4) Meet the diagnostic criteria for prediabetes, and have not been diagnosed with diabetes or taken hypoglycemic drugs; In addition to the above criteria, the inclusion criteria for prospective studies must also meet: fully informed of the content of this study and signed informed consent. In addition to the above criteria, the inclusion criteria for the retrospective study must also be met: Patient in Nanfang Hospital, Southern Medical University from January 2010 to May 2021.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: (1) Other respiratory diseases that can cause chronic hypoxia, such as chronic bronchitis, COPD, asthma, etc; Accompanied by disrupted circadian rhythms, long-term staying up late or night shifts, and other sleep disorders; (2) Long term use of drugs that can cause glucose metabolism disorders, such as olanzapine, mirtazapine, oral contraceptives, sympathomimetic drugs, glucocorticoids, etc; (3) Cancer patients with a history of major surgery, major trauma in the past 3 months, and recent radiotherapy and chemotherapy treatment; (4) Individuals with important physical disorders such as neuromuscular disorders, hematological disorders, autoimmune diseases, liver diseases, hyperthyroidism, hypothyroidism, etc; (5) Acute coronary syndrome and/or cerebrovascular accident within 3 months; (6) People with congenital diseases or mental illnesses, or those with consciousness disorders who cannot cooperate; (7) Pregnant and lactating women.
