Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Age >= 20 years; 2.diagnosed as depression according to the fifth edition of the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders. 21 HAM-D scores >= 18; 3.Reported persistent pain for more than 3 months, and BPI fifth item score >= 4; 4.According to the Clinical Global Impression ( CGI ) scale, it was assessed as moderate disease score >= 4 points. 5.Consistent analgesic and antidepressant medication and psychotherapy regimens ( in terms of dose and type of medication ) were available within the first four weeks of enrollment;

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Depression due to drug abuse; 2.Organic changes in the brain, such as stroke, usually cause the first episode of major depression after age 65. 3.The patient 's condition is unstable, such as with systemic malignant tumor metastasis. 4.They received acupuncture and herbal treatment within two weeks before enrollment.
