Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Chronic insomnia with daytime sleepiness: (1) meet the CID diagnostic criteria outlined in the third edition of the International Classification of Sleep Disorders; (2) Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index (PSQI) score >=7; (3) ESS score >=10; (4) Aged 18-60 years old; (5) HAMD score =26 points to exclude cognitive impairment; (6) Did not take any hypnotic drugs for 2 weeks before the neuropsychological test and MRI scan. Good sleep control group: (1) Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index (PSQI) score < 7; (2) Objective neuropsychological tests were normal; (3) Age, sex and education level matched the control group.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Exclusion criteria for the control group with chronic insomnia and daytime sleepiness and good sleep: (1) a history of other neuropsychiatric disorders (such as the neurodegenerative disease Parkinson's disease) and serious chronic diseases (such as diabetes, heart disease, and cancer); (2) other sleep disorders, such as sleep-related breathing disorders (sleep apnea syndrome), central narcolepsy, circadian sleep-wake disorders, sleep-related movement disorders, and parasomnia; (3) Brain injury or high white matter signal detected by routine T2-weighted MRI scan; (4) History of addiction to drugs, alcohol, coffee, etc.; (5) There are contraindications for MRI.
