Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients aged 3 to 5 years old, a DMFT index (Decayed, Missing, and Filled Teeth index) of 1 or higher, compliance with follow-up, and agreement to sign the informed consent form.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Contraindications to anesthesia, a history of diseases that may affect neurodevelopment (such as epilepsy, deafness, blindness, autism, cerebral palsy, and intellectual disabilities), a history of previous general anesthesia, moderate to severe preterm birth (gestational age of 33 weeks or less), and extremely low birth weight infants (birth weight less than 1500 g).
