Age
18 Years to No maximum

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: (1) Age >=18 years old, (2) Resorption of alveolar bone in labio-buccal region of missing teeth, (3) There was no acute inflammation in the implantation area. (4) The soft tissue around the implant is healthy, there is enough soft tissue to use, (5) The available bone height of the root of the missing tooth area is at least 3mm, which can provide support for the implant.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: (1) Suffering from cardiovascular and cerebrovascular related systemic diseases, unable to tolerate surgery, (2). Heavy smokers (>=20 cigarettes per day), (3) History of bisphosphonate use (4) Suffering from mental illness, (5). Pregnant and lactating women, (6) Acute inflammation of adjacent teeth or uncontrolled periodontal disease.

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Change of horizontal bone thickness at the lines perpendicular to the implant's long axis at the implant shoulder (HT0) of the augmented region via CBCT images;Change of HT3 (the lines perpendicular to the implant's long axis at 3mm below the shoulder) of the augmented regions;Change of HT6 (the lines perpendicular to the implant's long axis at 6mm below the shoulder) of the augmented regions;

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Early postoperative discomfort and wound healing;Implant Stability of the augmented sites via PTV value;PES and WES;Change of horizontal bone thickness at the lines perpendicular to the implant's long axis at the implant shoulder (HT0) of the augmented region via CBCT images;Change of HT3 (the lines perpendicular to the implant's long axis at 3mm below the shoulder) of the augmented regions;Change of HT6 (the lines perpendicular to the implant's long axis at 6mm below the shoulder) of the augmented regions;
