Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: High Trait Anxiety Group 1. Han Chinese adolescents aged 13-18, with no age limit for parents; 2. Diagnosed with depressive disorder by at least two senior clinical physicians with years of experience, according to DSM-5 criteria. The diagnosis will be further verified through interviews with both the patient and their guardian using the Chinese version of the School-Aged Children’s Emotional Disorders and Schizophrenia Questionnaire – Lifetime Edition (K-SADS-PL DSM-5). Additionally, based on the T-AI score in the STAI assessment, 50 boys with T-AI > 56 and 50 girls with T-AI > 57 will be recruited, maintaining a 1:1 gender ratio; 3. Patients voluntarily participate in the study, and their family members agree and sign the informed consent form. Healthy Control Group 1. Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: High Trait Anxiety Group 1. Diagnosis of any psychiatric disorder other than adolescent emotional disorders; 2. History of epilepsy, head trauma, neurological diseases, or similar conditions; 3. Substance or drug abuse; 4. Presence of any other severe physical diseases; 5. History of long-term medication use.
