Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Patients who met the following criteria were included: diagnosed with benign paroxysmal positional vertigo (BPPV) and completed in - hospital treatment in our department from January 2025 to December 2025; aged between 18 and 65 years old; positive result in the Dix - Hallpike test; able to read, understand, and complete the written instructions related to vestibular rehabilitation training; proficient in using smart phones and capable of correct operation; and volunteered to participate in the research. The included patients were grouped according to different nursing plans.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Patients with the following conditions were excluded: having other diseases causing vertigo; having a history of head trauma, surgery, or lower - limb pain that hinders standing and weight - bearing; having a history of or symptoms of vestibular system diseases other than BPPV; having undergone lower - limb surgery, experiencing sudden sensorineural hearing loss, or suffering from chronic otitis media; being pregnant or suspected of being pregnant; having severe cognitive impairment that interferes with the tests; having cervical spine diseases that may cause vertigo; being unable to operate a smartphone correctly; withdrawing from the study on their own initiative; or not responding to follow - up.
