Interventions

the E-health only (EO) group: the E-health Only Group (EO) (n=317) was sent a video about cognitions regarding CRC/FIT.
The E-health plus motivational interviewing (MI) group (EMI):The EMI group received brief MI on top of the above EO intervention.
The control group:This group received text-based health education messages.

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1) age 50-60, 2) Hong Kong identity card holder, 3) Chinese speaking, 4) scoring 2-3 according to the APCS (moderate risk of CRC), 5) possessing a smartphone.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Those who had received any form of CRC screening.
