Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: a) The unilateral posterior region has had an implant-supported full zirconia single crown restoration for at least 5 years (the adjacent tooth is a natural tooth whose crown is almost intact and there is no obvious abnormality in the axial direction and position of the crown). b) The zirconia single crown opposes either to a natural teeth without large fillings, or implant-supported/natural-tooth supported full zirconia single-crown restorations. c) The adjacent teeth and the corresponding tooth on the contralateral side oppose to natural teeth without crown restorations or large fillings, without obvious periapical shadows. There is no visible periapical shadowing of the tooth when the implant-supported full zirconia single crown opposes to a natural tooth. d) The patient is between 18 and 75 years old without gender restrictions. e) There are no obvious abnormalities on occlusal examination (no premature contact or occlusal interference) and the bilateral posterior teeth have stable occlusal contacts. f) Complete and reliable preoperative, intraoperative and postoperative implant data have been recorded and preserved well. g) The patient agreed to participate in this study and signed an informed consent form.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: a) Patients who are unable to cooperate with regular follow-up or imaging examination. b) Presence of restricted mouth opening or muscular, skeletal, joint disorders of the stomatognathic system affecting jaw movement. c) A history of moderate to severe periodontitis or peri-implant disease. d) Presence of severe malocclusion or history of orthodontic treatment after restoration. e) Use of steroids or bisphosphonates. f) Patients who have a physical disability or mental illness interfering with oral hygiene maintenance. g) A history of bone augmentation surgery in the area of the implants. h) Tooth extraction in the posterior region of the affected side or resin filling or restoration of occlusal surface involving the cusp has been performed on the adjacent teeth, the opposing tooth or the corresponding tooth on the contralateral side after implant-supported full zirconia single crown restoration. i) Patients with unilateral chewing habits.
