Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Symptoms of imbalance while standing or walking, and/or exercise-induced oscillatory hallucinations during walking or head movements, as well as decreased bilateral caloric responses (mean peak slow phase velocity <6°/s), and/or bilateral vestibulo-ocular reflex gain <0.6 as measured by v-HIT were classified as bilateral vestibular hypofunction (BVH).

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: (1) Visual, orthopedic, or neurological disorders that affect balance; (2) cognitive impairment; (3) Diagnosis of benign paroxysmal positional vertigo, Ménière's disease, or vestibular migraine; (4) Conductive hearing loss caused by otitis media or tympanic membrane perforation; (5) Contraindications to vestibular rehabilitation (VRT), including severe pain or cervical spine syndrome; (6) Unable to understand or comply with oral and written instructions, or unable to provide written consent.
