Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1.Age: 18 ~75 years old; 2.The preoperative diagnosis has been made, and gastric cancer was diagnosed by pathological histology; 3.proposed total gastrectomy or distal gastrectomy; 4.Did not receive preoperative gastric cancer treatment (surgery, chemotherapy, radiotherapy, targeted therapy, etc); 5.A NRS 2002 score of 3 points before discharge; 6.To resume oral dietary intake before discharge; 7.Volunteer to join the study and sign the informed consent form.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1.Functional-preserving gastrectomy (pyloric-preserving gastrectomy, segmental gastrectomy, local gastrectomy, endoscopic resection, and proximal gastrectomy); 2.With other cancers, severe heart disease, diabetes, and electrolyte disorders; 3.Severe liver and renal function abnormalities (ALT and AST=twice the upper limit of normal , Cr> 176 µ mol/L); 4.Galactosemia, abnormal amino acid metabolism or have known allergy to any component in the ONS formulation for study; 5.Postoperative gastrointestinal fistula, intestinal obstruction, and no residual bowel function; 6.During the pregnancy period or lactation period.
