Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients with persistent atrial fibrillation aged >= 18 years and <= 85 years old; 2. NYHA functional class I-III; 3. Perform radiofrequency ablation for atrial fibrillation. 4. Obtain informed consent from the patient and complete a 1-year follow-up.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Unable to complete the expected 1-year follow-up; 2. Serious hematological disorders with contraindications to anticoagulation; 3. Left atrial diameter >= 65mm; 4. Left atrial appendage thrombus (transesophageal ultrasound examination); 5. NYHA functional class IV; 6. Hyperthyroidism or hypothyroidism; 7. Severe liver and kidney dysfunction; 8. Expected survival time<1 year; 9. Other arrhythmias/malignant arrhythmias
