Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: (1) Age 18~65 years old; (2) Patients experiencing a non-psychotic major depressive episode as defined by the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM-5) with moderate to severe levels of treatment resistance as measured by the Maudsley staging method (MSM). (3) Those who have undergone at least two antidepressants with different mechanisms of action, and have been treated with sufficient amounts and full courses of treatment with poor efficacy or no response. (4) The total score of HAMD-24 items > 20 points; (5) Patients who were able to complete the first 5 days of accelerated iTBS therapy with an effective rate of 50%; (6) right-handed; (7) The patient's physical examination, medical history, vital signs, hematuria and stool routine, liver and kidney function, electrolytes, electrocardiogram, electroencephalogram and other indicators were normal; (8) After fully understanding the safety of transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS), willing to actively cooperate with the treatment, and signed informed consent by the person and his family.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: (1) Age 65 years old; (2) Those with a history of severe physical illness and other psychoactive substances and depression caused by non-dependent substances; (3) The patient has metal or electronic devices built into the body, such as intracranial metal foreign bodies, cochlear implants, pacemakers, stents and other metal foreign bodies; (4) Have a risk of seizures, have previous craniocerebral disease, head trauma, alcoholism, electroencephalogram abnormalities, MRI evidence of brain structural abnormalities, or have a family history of epilepsy; (5) Those who have psychotic symptoms and need to take antipsychotic drugs; (6) ECT therapy within 2 months prior to enrollment; (7) Refusal to sign informed consent.
