Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: We retrospectively reviewed the electronic medical records of consecutive pediatric and adult spinal deformity patients who underwent single-stage posterior 3CO procedure and pedicle screw-only constructs between January 2013 and December 2016 at a single spinal deformity center (Department of spine, the Ninth Medical Center, Chinese PLA General Hospital). Patients who had at least 8 years of follow-up after 3CO treatment at the time of the data extraction were included in this research.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: In this study, patients associated with spinal intradural tumor resection, post-traumatic spinal deformity were excluded. In addition, adult degenerative spinal deformity patients were also not included in this investigation.
