Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: male and female patients aged >= 18 years who had a medical consultation for rhinosinusitis requiring three-dimensional CT images. CT tomography revealed sinus inflammation and the history is consistent with chronic sinusitis according to the EPOS2020 diagnostic criteria. Nasal polyps are detected by nasal endoscopy. The patient has no history of nasal surgery and other aetiologies of sinusitis (such as odontogenic sinusitis, medical aetiology sinusitis and secondary sinusitis).
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: age < 18 years with sinus tumors, mucocele, sinus trauma, and uncontrolled underlying diseases (such as anemia and tuberculosis). The presence of nasal polyps was not detected on nasal endoscopy. The patient had a history of sinus surgery. The pathological examination of the surgical specimen revealed the presence of a neoplastic lesion.
