Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1) Patients with type 2 diabetes aged 18 to 65 years, regardless of gender; 2) Patients who have received continuous semaglutide injections for 35 to 84 days prior to enrollment.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1) Patients who have previously received semaglutide injections but have discontinued use or have been on the medication for less than 30 days prior to enrollment; 2) Patients with gastric outlet obstruction, gastric volvulus, significant/active esophageal/gastric/duodenal bleeding, achalasia, Zenker’s diverticulum, gastric cancer obstruction, or a history of upper gastrointestinal surgery; 3) Patients with multiple myeloma, systemic connective tissue diseases, or amyloidosis; 4) Traumatic state, anxiety and depression scale (The hospital anxiety and depression scale>=8 points), and severe chronic pain for more than 3 months (visual analogue score> in the last 3 months= 7 points) patients, long-term opioid use, drug addiction, alcohol abuse (consumption of more than 2 units of alcohol per day on average, 1 unit = 360 ml of beer or 45 ml of 40% liquor or 150 ml of wine); 5) Concomitant use/ingestion of medications known to affect gastric emptying (e.g., opioids, anticholinergics, tricyclic antidepressants, calcium channel blockers, progesterone, octreotide, proton pump inhibitors, H2-receptor antagonists, interferon, levodopa, sucralfate, aluminum hydroxide antacids, ß-adrenergic receptor agonists, glucagon, calcitonin, difenfluramine, diphenhydramine, etc., and GLP-1 receptor agonists other than semaglutide); 6) Pregnancy; 7) Patients who cannot lie on the right side.
