18 Years to 80 Years
Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1.Pathological biopsy confirmed adenocarcinoma; 2. Diagnosed with LARC (cT3-4 stage, and/or positive lymph node metastasis) by pre NAC MRI, with no evidence of distant metastasis; 3. After NAC, a total mesorectal excision was performed; 4. Receive MRI examination within one week before NAC; 5. Receive MRI examination 8-10 weeks after NAC or within 1 week before surgery; 6. Sign the informed consent form.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. NAC incomplete; 2. Incomplete MRI sequence and inability to retrieve postoperative HE stained sections; 3. Previous or concurrent history of other malignant tumors and treatment history such as pelvic radiotherapy and systemic chemotherapy; 4. Surgery more than 12 weeks after NAC; 5. Poor image quality makes image segmentation and feature extraction difficult. 6. During the course of the disease, other local treatments, targeted therapies, or immunotherapy may be received.
