Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients with intertrochanteric fracture of one side of the femur aged =60 years who were admitted to our hospital from January 2017 to February 2024 The cause of injury is low energy injury Those who underwent surgical treatment with intramedullary nail fixation Those who had some mobility before the fracture

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Those with a history of fracture or surgery on the ipsilateral or contralateral hip; Those with multiple injuries, combined with fractures in other parts of the body; Those who have had previous fracture of other parts of the lower limb on the same side; Those with confirmed malignant tumour at the time of admission; Old fracture (>3 weeks); Pathological fracture
