Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: The inclusion criteria for the case group were: (1) men or women aged 18 to 65 years; (2) permanent residents of the region; (3) lipid levels in accordance with any one of the diagnostic criteria in the 2016 Chinese Guidelines for the Prevention and Control of Dyslipidemia in Adults, i.e., serum TC greater than or equal to 5.2 mmol/L, serum TG greater than or equal to 1.7 mmol/L, serum HDL-C less than or equal to 1.0 mmol/L, and serum LDL-C greater than or equal to 3.4 mmol/L. Serum TC is greater than or equal to 5.2 mmol/L, serum TG is greater than or equal to 1.7 mmol/L, serum HDL-C is less than or equal to 1.0 mmol/L, serum LDL-C is greater than or equal to 3.4 mmol/L. (4) No related diseases such as hepatic, renal, cerebral, cardiovascular, and type 1 or type 2 diabetes mellitus. (5) Cases were newly diagnosed within one month and were not taking relevant lipid-modifying drugs. (6) Signed informed consent and participated in the study voluntarily. Inclusion criteria for the control group: (1) male or female aged 18 to 65 with BMI of 18.5-23.9 kg/m^2; (2) permanent residents of the region; (3) lipid levels within the range of normal healthy people; (4) no serious liver, kidney, gastrointestinal, endocrine diseases and complications related to chronic diseases; (5) signing an informed consent form and voluntarily participating in the survey.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: The exclusion criteria for the case group were: (1) non-resident in the region; (2) women in special periods, such as pregnancy, lactation, or special dietary habits, such as ketogenic diet, diet, vegetarian; (3) frequent travelers outside the unit. Exclusion criteria for the control group: (1) non-resident in the region; (2) frequent business travelers outside the unit.
