Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Age 18-80 years old, male or female; 2. meet the diagnostic criteria in the 2022 Chinese Expert Consensus on the Diagnosis and Treatment of Postherpetic Neuralgia, with NRS >= 4 points 3. patients voluntarily sign the informed consent and can cooperate to complete the questionnaire; 4. Diagnostic criteria: a. The patient has a history of herpes zoster (HZ), i.e., previous rash and blisters distributed along the nerves; b.Presence of herpes zoster rash with pain lasting more than 1 month. c. pain that occurs in the area of distribution of the herpes zoster rash or beyond the area of herpes. d. The pain is variable in nature and may be a persistent single pain manifesting as burning or deep-seated pain; radiating, tearing pain; or prodromal pain manifesting as abnormal pain and nociceptive sensitivity.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Those with verbal communication difficulties who are unable to complete the scale assessment; 2. Diagnosis of primary trigeminal neuralgia, glossopharyngeal neuralgia, cervical neuralgia, intercostal neuralgia, thoracic pain of spinal origin, postvertebral compression neuralgia, spinal radicular pain, and metastatic pain from vertebral tumors. 3. Patients with severe cardiac, hepatic, renal and metabolic diseases, patients with psychiatric diseases, patients with history of alcoholism and drug use; 4. Patients who are not suitable for enteroscopy and trioxane enema treatment for various reasons. 5. other diseases that may interfere with the treatment, such as diabetes, patients after tumor chemotherapy and acquired immunodeficiency syndrome (AIDS). 6. taking antibiotics, probiotics or receiving other enteral treatments within 3 months prior to enrollment 7. Glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase deficiency (serotonin disease, acute hemolytic anemia) 8. Toxic hyperthyroidism - Basedow Graves syndrome 9. Thrombocytopenia less than 50,000 and severe coagulation disorders 10. Severe unstable cardiovascular disease 11. Acute alcoholism 12. Acute myocardial infarction 13. Massive and acute hemorrhage 14. Convulsive states 15. Hemochromatosis 16. Patients receiving copper or iron therapy 17. Athletes who are about to participate in competitive sporting events 18. Pregnancy and lactation
