Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: (1)diagnosis of ZAP of the mandibular nerve; (2) pain duration between 1 and 6 months; (3)refractory to conventional management, including medications, physical therapies, and other invasive interventions(either an NRS score greater than 4 or experiencing intolerable side effects;)

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: (1) Suffering from coagulation disorders or using anticoagulants; (2) Combined acute systemic infection or inflammation at the puncture site; (3) Concurrent severe organ dysfunction and inability to tolerate surgery; (4) Pregnant and lactating women; (5) Preoperative cervical MRI indicates bone hyperplasia, malformation, or occupying lesions that affect electrode placement, or poor cervical mobility that prevents the completion of surgery (6)Suffering from mental illness or intellectual disabilities, unable to complete self-assessment questionnaires or unable to cooperate with follow-up; (7)Those who have been lost to follow-up for more than 180 days or have incomplete follow-up data due to other reasons.
