Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Untreated adolescent idiopathic scoliosis (AIS) patients aged 10-16 with a single thoracic curve (STC) or a single lumbar curve (SLC) with a Cobb angle greater than 10 and less than 20.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Have had treatment experience before enrollment; 2. Leg length discrepancy greater than 1 cm; 3. Any movement impairment, low back pain, neurologic abnormalities observed on clinical examination; 4. Double principal curves or triple principal curves.
