Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: (1) The patient was diagnosed with an intertrochanteric fracture (2) Age >=65 years old (3) Caused by low energy damage (e.g. falls from standing height and osteoporosis) (4) Patients undergoing surgical treatment (rigorously assessed by the medical team)
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: (1) Intertrochanteric fracture patients with pathological fracture (2) Revision patients with old intertrochanteric fracture or fracture nonunion (3) Patients who have lost weight bearing or the ability to walk before the fracture (4) Patients with multiple fractures or trauma (5) Patients treated conservatively (6) Patients with cognitive impairment (7) Noncompliant patients
