Acute and Chronic Disorders of Consciousness

Interventions

Intervention Group:Multiphysical Field Combined Regulation, with a treatment duration of 4 weeks, 5 days per week, and 1 session per day.
Control Group:Routine physical therapy without multiphysical field combined regulation.

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Inclusion Criteria for Patients with Acute Impairment of Consciousness: 1. Age 14-60 years old; 2. The diagnosis meets the internationally recognized diagnostic criteria for coma; 3. GCS score< 8 points; 4. Traumatic brain injury, stroke, ischemic-hypoxic encephalopathy leading to impaired consciousness; 5. Right hand; 6. Family members sign informed consent. Inclusion Criteria for Patients with Chronic Impairment of Consciousness: 1. Age 14-60 years old; 2. The diagnosis meets the diagnostic criteria of unresponsive arousal syndrome/vegetative state, minimally conscious state recognized by international studies; 3. Traumatic brain injury, stroke, ischemic-hypoxic encephalopathy leading to impaired consciousness; 4. Right hand; 5. Family members sign informed consent.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Exclusion Criteria for Patients with Acute Impairment of Consciousness: 1. History of psychiatric diseases and hearing impairment in the past; 2. There are metal implants such as arterial clips and pacemakers in the skull; 3. Taking sedatives and other drugs that affect the excitability of the cortex during the test; 4. Presence of uncontrollable epilepsy or involuntary movements; 5. No spontaneous breathing; 6. Status epilepticus; 7. Unable to cooperate with the examination due to urgent neurosurgical treatment. Exclusion Criteria for Patients with Chronic Impairment of Consciousness: 1. History of psychiatric diseases and hearing impairment in the past; 2. There are metal implants such as arterial clips and pacemakers in the skull; 3. Taking sedatives and other drugs that affect the excitability of the cortex during the experiment; 4. Presence of uncontrollable epilepsy or involuntary movements.
