40 Years to 80 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: ( 1 ) Age = 40 years and = 80 years ; ( 2 ) Conform to the following CSVD diagnostic criteria : 1 WMHs, Fazekas grade = 2 ; 2 WMHs, Fazekas grade = 1 and = 2 vascular risk factors ( such as hypertension, type 2 diabetes, lipoprotein metabolism disorder, obesity, smoking, drinking, etc. ) ; 3 WMHs, Fazekas grade = 1 and combined with lacunar infarction ; ( 3 ) Sign the informed consent to participate in the study.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: (1) WMHs caused by non-vascular diseases, such as poisoning, multiple sclerosis, encephalitis, infection, and leukodystrophy, etc.; (2) Patients diagnosed with neurodegenerative diseases such as Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson's disease, multiple system atrophy or non-vascular cognitive dysfunction; (3) Patients with pre-existing or current mental disorders and severe depression; (4) Patients with a history of cerebral hemorrhage or cerebral infarction with a lesion diameter of >1.5cm; (5) MRA or CTA shows more than 50% stenosis of the large arteries inside and outside the skull; (6) Serious orthopedic diseases found in past medical history or physical examination, such as osteoarthritis, fractures, congenital deformities, amputations and lower limb arthroplasty; (7) rheumatic diseases involving the joints of the lower limbs; (8) Patients with severe heart, lung, liver, kidney diseases and malignant tumors; (9) There are contraindications to brain MRI examination, including cardiac pacemaker, cerebral artery clipping surgery, claustrophobia, etc.
