e-BOX group:Half of the participants (n=300) will be assigned to use an electronic pill box (eBox). The eBox is a digital device that records when medications are taken and sends reminders and alerts
Standard Therapy Group:Control group (standard of care group): The remaining half of the participants (number=300) will receive standard of care, which usually includes traditional DOT. In this method

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: TB patients: 1.Newly bacteriologically confirmed pulmonary TB patients. 3.Aged 18 years and older. 3.No mental, visual, auditory, language, and intellectual disabilities or impairments; Healthcare workers (Clinicians): 1.Active Clinician managing TB patients within the selected TB health facilities; 2.With working experience for more than three years; 3.Having a certified license to practice as a clinician; 4.Signs participant informed consent.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Non-new-onset tuberculosis patients; 2. Those under the age of 18.
