Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1) From October 2024 to December 2026, patients with skeletal Class II malocclusion who underwent early orthodontic treatment using Twin-block or Activator, as well as patients with skeletal Class III malocclusion who underwent early orthodontic treatment using maxillary protraction appliances or Frankel-III, in the orthodontic department of Peking University Hospital of Stomatology. 2) Patients with complete and high-quality digital dental models, digital three-dimensional facial scans, and CBCT images before and after treatment. 3) The cervical vertebral maturation stage is <=CS5.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1) Patients with diseases related to the nasopalatine region. 2) Patients with congenital craniofacial syndromes or other rare growth and developmental abnormalities.
