Gold Standard:According to the Chinese type 2 diabetes prevention guide (2020 edition), diabetes as FPG acuity 7.0 tendency for L and (or) 2 HPG or greater tendency for 11.1 / L
Prediabetes included impaired fasting glucose (6.1mmol/L<= FPG <7.0mmol/L) and/or impaired glucose tolerance (7.8mmol/L<= 2hPG <11.1mmol/L). Normal blood glucose was defined as FPG <6.1mmol/L and 2hPG
Index test:(1) Chinese Diabetes risk score: including family history of diabetes, gender, age, height, weight, waist circumference, history of hypertension, and most recent systolic blood pressure
(2) fasting plasma glucose.

Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: (1) Age >= 60 years old; (2) Urban and rural permanent residents, no intention to move to other places within 3 years.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: (1) Patients who have been diagnosed with diabetes or pre-diabetes; (2) mental abnormality; (3) Unstable health status (e.g. unstable angina, blood pressure > 200/100 mmHg and infection); (4) Use of drugs that may affect blood sugar levels (such as thiazines, beta-blockers, and glucocorticoids).
