Interventions

Intervention group:Implementation of a CONNECT-based symptom management program, which includes symptom monitoring and management, emotional and psychological support, family education and counseling,
Control group:Receive standard care, including routine symptom monitoring and general nursing advice during radiotherapy.

18 Years to 75 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Diagnosed with non-metastatic head and neck cancer confirmed by pathological examination based on the NCCN Clinical Practice Guidelines for Head and Neck Cancers (2024, 4th Edition), with an expected survival of more than six months; 2. Scheduled to receive postoperative adjuvant radiotherapy or radical radiotherapy (with or without chemotherapy); 3. Aged 18 years or older; 4. Mentally alert, capable of basic communication and literacy, and able to complete questionnaires; 5. Understands the purpose of the study and voluntarily consents to participate.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Presence of malignant tumors other than head and neck cancer; 2. Previous history of head and neck radiotherapy; 3. Diagnosed with mental illness or cognitive impairment; 4. Previously received similar interventions.
