Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Group A Enrollment Criteria: 1) Age 35-65 years old; 2) acute ischemic stroke, onset within 4 weeks; 3) unilateral symptomatic anterior circulation intracranial atherosclerosis, stenosis 30-70%; 4) No contraindications to MRI examination; 5) Informed consent of the subject. Group B selected age/sex matching people with simple cerebral small vessel disease (cerebral small vessel disease score >=2 points), Group C was a normal control population without intracranial large artery atherosclerosis and cerebral small vessel disease.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1) mRS score before onset >=5 points; 2) cardioembolism; 3) significant (>=50%) ipsilateral extracranial artery stenosis or occlusion; 4) intracranial artery occlusive changes; 5) Intracranial arterial disease not caused by atherosclerosis, such as intracranial artery stenosis caused by dissection, moyamoya disease, vasculitis, etc.; 6) Combined with cardiac insufficiency or severe heart valve disease, arrhythmia, etc.; 7) Other conditions that are not suitable for enrollment as determined by the investigator, such as poor compliance, or expected inability to complete clinical follow-up, etc.ollment.
