18 Years to 80 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: (1) The tumor was within 10 cm from the anal verge; (2) Preoperative pathologic examination confirmed adenocarcinoma of the rectum; (3) Complete MRI imaging data were available before surgery; (4) The depth of tumor invasion was T1-3; (5) Circumferential resection margin is assessed as negative via MRI; (6) R0 rection can be achieved with the evaluation of MRI.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: (1) History of pelvic fracture; (2) history of pelvic surgery; (3) Emergency surgery due to intestinal obstruction and intestinal perforation caused by tumors.
