Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Age >= 14 years; a cerebrospinal fluid cytological examination should be conducted for patients with suspected central nervous system infections who present with fever, headache, and altered mental status.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Pregnant women; Those diagnosed with central nervous system infections at other hospitals and receiving treatment; Confirmed cancer patients; Patients with traumatic brain injury who have undergone craniotomy and are suspected of having central nervous system infections; Those who have incomplete data within 24 hours of admission, making scoring and information collection impossible.
