Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Case Group: 1?Complete information on testing items and survey responses; 2?Voluntarily signs informed consent and active cooperation; 3?Diagnosis with autism for the first time in a tertiary or higher-level hospital; 4?Age: 2-6 years old. 2.Control Group: 1?Healthy, without mental disorders, age- and gender-matched with the case group (age difference within one year); 2?Complete information on testing items and survey responses; 3?Voluntarily signs informed consent and active cooperation; 4?Diagnosis without autism in a tertiary or higher-level hospital; 5?No clinical diagnosis with other neurodevelopmental disorders.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1?Incomplete questionnaire information, with over 30% of items unanswered or not completed according to instructions; 2?Incomplete clinical records or laboratory test results; 3?Brother or sister with ASD; 4?Family history of schizophrenia, mood disorders, or other mental and behavioral issues; 5?Diagnosis with Fragile X syndrome, tuberous sclerosis, 15q11-q13 duplication syndrome, or Rett syndrome; 6?Diagnosis with pure mental developmental disorders or simple language developmental disorders; 7?Diagnosis with other pervasive developmental disorders, hearing impairment, or organic neurological diseases; 8?Diagnosis with heart, liver, or kidney diseases; 9?Diagnosis with inflammatory or infectious diseases and is taking medication during the study period; 10?Diagnosis with other psychiatric disorders (e.g., obsessive-compulsive disorder, depression, schizophrenia); other neurodevelopmental disorders (e.g., attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder); genetic metabolic diseases, or severe neurological disorders; history of brain injury; or history of other major physical illnesses;
