18 Years to 90 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Age >= 18 years; 2.Expected ICU stay >=48 h; 3.Expected duration of mechanical ventilation >=48 h; 4.Ability to tolerate bedside ultrasound for sinus dynamics, gastric remnants, and intestinal function; 5.Start of enteral nutrition in ICU =48 h;

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.EN supportive therapy was administered prior to admission to the ICU; 2.Previous gastrointestinal surgery resulting in structural insufficiency; 3.Abdominal lesions not amenable to abdominal ultrasonography; 4.Pregnant women, severe flatulence, BMI=30kg/m2, the gastric antrum can not be developed under ultrasound;
