Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1.Ages 7-12 years old; 2.Children with nasal breathing cohort: nasal breathing habits were judged by clinical examination and questionnaire survey (no symptoms such as oral breathing, sleep snoring, or recurrent nasal congestion); 3.Oral respiratory cohort: Oral respiratory habits were determined by clinical examination and questionnaire survey; 4.Imaging and morphological examination were complete.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1.The clinical diagnosis was OSA; 2.The dentition is incomplete, and more than one pair of masticatory functional units in bilateral posterior dental regions are missing; 3.with bad oral habits such as finger sucking, lip biting and tongue spitting; 4.Congenital facial abnormalities (cleft lip and palate, etc.); 5.Immediate family members with the same bone type as the patient (family genetic predisposition to malocclusion); 6.Abnormal mandibular length due to heredity or trauma; 7.History of orthodontic treatment.
