Interventions

Control group:Standard home rehabilitation exercises, which included standing with the affected foot on the ground, the healthy knee flexed at 45° and the healthy foot elevated, while the upper arms w
sitting with elastic bands secured to the affected foot, actively dorsiflexing the ankle joint to its maximum for 30 seconds, followed by a 10-second rest, repeated 10 times in groups of three
and standing with the affected foot flat on the ground, the outer forefoot against a wall, resisting eversion and external rotation for 30 seconds, resting for 10 seconds, and repeating 10 times in gr
Experimental group:The rTMS group received additional rTMS on top of home rehabilitation.

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Participants aged 60 years and older, regardless of gender; 2. Participants with a history of falls within the past 1 year; 3. Participants with Stand Walking Time Test (TUGT) >= 12 seconds; 4. Participants with a Berg Balance Scale (BBS) < 40 points.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Montreal Cognitive Assessment (MoCA) score<=26 points; 2. Serious complications such as deep vein thrombosis of lower limbs, respiratory tract infection, urinary tract infection, etc.; 3. Suffering from serious diseases of important organs such as heart, brain, lungs; 4. Symptoms affecting the motor function of the lower limbs, such as joint contractures and severe spasms of the lower limbs; 5. Taking drugs that affect the excitability of the cortex.
