Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Etomidate/metomidate abuser group: Patients who misuse cigarettes or e-cigarettes containing etomidate, etomidate, or other GABAA receptor agonists; 2.those who have previously misused other drugs must have abstained from using such drugs for over three years and currently exhibit no symptoms related to those drugs. There are no gender restrictions. Age is 18 years or older. Education is primary school or higher. (2) Healthy control group: Age is 18 years or older. Sex and education are matched with the etomidate/metomidate abuser group.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: (1) Etomidate/metomidate abuser group: with other substance abuse; with other severe neurological or psychiatric disorders; with severe physical illnesses; with severe intellectual or emotional disabilities that prevent cooperation with testing. (2) Healthy control group: a history of severe neurological or psychiatric disorders; with severe physical illnesses; having alcohol use disorders or consuming more than 20g of alcohol daily; with mild cognitive impairment or depressive symptoms.
