Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Inclusion criteria: a. Age >= 18 years; b. OSDI (Ocular Surface Disease Index) score =>= 13 or SPEED (Standard Patient Evaluation of Eye Dryness Questionnaire) score > 14.5; c. Meibomian gland orifice obstruction score of 1–3, with morphological changes of the gland orifices presenting as lipid caps, lipid plugs, or lipid clogs; d. Abnormal meibomian gland secretion score of 1–2, with secretion quality score of 1–3; e. Other abnormalities in the scoring of meibomian glands and eyelid margins.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: a Ocular factors: MGD (hypersecretion of meibomian gland secretion); The presence of significant eyelid or ocular surface disease (ectropion, entropion, meibomian gland cyst, eyelid skin laxity, trachomatous scar, pbullous conjunctivitis, any limbal stem cell deficiency, and keratopathy); History of ocular allergy, contact lens wearing, ocular surgery and trauma. b Systemic disease: presence of inflammatory skin diseases (such as atopic dermatitis, seborrheic dermatitis, rosacea and psoriasis); "Other diseases that significantly affect sebaceous secretion (androgen deficiency, complete androgen resistance syndrome, systemic lupus erythematosus, and Turner syndrome, among others)." c Medication history: any systemic or ocular treatment other than artificial tears within the past 3 months.
