Gold Standard:1. Bone density measurement We used the corresponding BMD value of QCT (Mindways, QCTpro, USA) as the gold standard, in which QCT is the software approved and registered by the Food and

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: (1) Patients over 50 years old who received chest and abdominal CT examination in our hospital from 2023.01 to 2024.12, and the images should completely include thoracic 12 and lumbar 1 vertebrae; (2) QCT bone mineral density test was performed opportunely (500 cases were to be collected); (3) 300 volunteers over 50 years old who underwent chest or abdominal CT examination were prospectively recruited. Skeletal muscle mass and grip strength were detected, and the interval between CT and skeletal muscle detection was not more than one month.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: (1) a history of thoracolumbar surgery (including fracture surgery); (2) severe scoliosis; (3) Patients with compression fractures or malformations in the T12, L1, L2 vertebrae; (4) pregnancy or pregnancy; (5) Image quality does not meet clinical requirements or affect diagnosis
