Experimental group:Ultrasonic irrigation before root canal filling was performed with polymer ultrasonic tips.
Control group:Ultrasonic irrigation before root canal filling was performed with metal ultrasonic tips.

18 Years to 65 Years
Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Selected patients aged 18 to 65 who visited the outpatient department of Peking University Hospital of Stomatology and needed primary root canal treatment for pulpitis or periapical periodontitis of the mandibular first molar. 2. After the initial treatment of pulp opening, the isthmus connecting the two mesial root canals could be observed under the operative microscope. 3. General condition is good, no contraindications for root canal therapy. 4. Signed the informed consent form.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. The tooth has a history of dental pulp treatment (including dry pulp treatment, plasticization treatment and root canal treatment). 2. The periodontal condition of the affected teeth is poor, and there are periodontal pockets connected with apical lesions. 3. Patients with history of asthma. 4. Diabetics with poor blood sugar control. 5. Patients who is using or have used bisphosphonates.
