Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Select ASD patients who have received two or more WMT treatments in the Department of Gastroenterology of The First Afiliated Hospital of Guangdong Pharmaceutical University from January 2020 to March 2026.Inclusion criteria: (1) age of 2-18 years at baseline, excluding cutoff values; (2) no gender limitation; (3) confirmed diagnosis of childhood autism according to Autism Diagnostic Interview Revised (ADI-R) and DSM-5 (Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, fifth edition; APA2013); (4) no washing fecal microbiota transplantation before; (5) cooperate with the examination and sign the informed consent.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: (1) taking antibiotics or probiotics within 1 month before WMT; (2) diagnosed with inflammatory bowel disease, gastrointestinal cancer, celiac disease and other gastrointestinal diseases requiring urgent treatment; (3) Diagnosed with severe heart, brain, lung, liver, or kidney disease.
