Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Understand the entire trial process, voluntarily participate, and sign the informed consent form. 2. Age: 40-100 years. 3. Ability to comprehend and cooperate with all aspects of the research evaluation.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Severe cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases, including conditions affecting the carotid arteries and peripheral blood vessels, defined as congestive heart failure (NYHA Class III-IV), unstable angina, myocardial infarction, or coronary artery disease within the six months preceding screening revascularization; history of stroke; and/or planned coronary, carotid, or peripheral artery revascularization at the time of screening. Severe hypertension is defined as systolic blood pressure =160 mmHg or diastolic blood pressure =100 mmHg. Electrocardiogram results must indicate clinically significant abnormalities, such as supraventricular tachycardia, atrial fibrillation, atrial flutter, or second or third-degree atrioventricular block. 2. Liver function impairment is defined as alanine aminotransferase (ALT) or aspartate aminotransferase (AST) levels = 2 × upper limit of normal (ULN); alkaline phosphatase (ALP) or total bilirubin levels > 1.5 × ULN (only total bilirubin > 1.5 × ULN, but direct bilirubin < 35% may be excluded). 3. Renal impairment is defined as an estimated glomerular filtration rate (eGFR) of less than 60 mL/min/1.73 m², calculated using the Chronic Kidney Disease Epidemiology Collaboration (CKD-EPI) formula, alongside a urinary albumin/creatinine ratio (UACR) of 300 mg/g or greater. 4. Severe endocrine system diseases are characterized by conditions such as diabetic ketoacidosis, hyperglycemic hyperosmolar state, severe hypoglycemic events, or repeated hypoglycemic events occurring within the 6 months prior to screening. Specifically, this includes instances of hypoglycemic events occurring more than three times within one week (excluding possible symptomatic hypoglycemia) or blood glucose levels falling below 3.0 mmol/L detected at least three times within a week. Additionally, patients exhibiting clinically significant abnormalities in thyroid function test results during screening are included in this category. 5. Excluding the aforementioned conditions, patients deemed unfit to participate in this study by the investigator will also be excluded.
