65 Years to 85 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. 65 years old <= age <= 85 years old. 2. ASA classification grade I - III. 3. Elective total hip replacement or total knee replacement.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Refusal to sign the informed consent form. 2. Suffering from severe central neurological diseases or mental disorders. 3. Taking sedatives or antidepressants. 4. History of drug or alcohol abuse. 5. Cognitive function defects, deafness, dementia, etc. as evaluated by the Mini-Mental State Examination (MMSE), making normal communication impossible. 6. Suffering from asthma or respiratory allergies. 7. Allergic to experimental materials. 8. Recent upper respiratory tract infection with olfactory problems. 9. Severe anemia (hemoglobin <7g/dL) or coagulation disorders. 10. Sick sinus syndrome, severe sinus bradycardia (<45bpm), or second-degree or higher atrioventricular block without a pacemaker. 11. Severe liver disease (Child-Pugh grade C), severe kidney disease (preoperative dialysis)
