55 Years to 85 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: (1) confirmation of a probable AD diagnosis in accordance with the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, 5th edition; (2) attainment of a Clinical Dementia Rating (CDR) score ranging from 0.5 to 2; (3) age falling within the range of 55 to 85 years; and (4) right-handedness.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: (1) had been diagnosed with severe cardiac, pulmonary, hepatic, or renal disorders; (2) had a history indicative of significant cranial trauma, neurological or psychiatric illnesses; (3) exhibited evidence of focal brain lesions in T1 or T2 images; (4) displayed contraindications for TMS or tACS, such as the presence of medical implants or devices, or metallic elements within the body.
