16 Years to 65 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Age 16-65 years, BMI >= 27.5 kg/m²; 2.Diagnosed with insulin resistance (Homeostasis Model Assessment of Insulin Resistance index HOMA-IR > 2.69) or type 2 diabetes (HOMA-IR = FPG × FINS / 22.5); 3.Signed informed consent and complete follow-up data from our hospital.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Type 1 diabetes, secondary diabetes, gestational diabetes; 2. History of weight loss surgery or use of other weight loss drugs or medical procedures such as liposuction within 90 days prior to enrollment; 3. History of acute or chronic pancreatitis; 4. Personal or family history of medullary thyroid carcinoma (MTC); 5. Poorly controlled mental disorders or refusal to participate in follow-up assessments.
