Interventions

Continuous intervention group:Use 40IU of oxytocin daily for 7 consecutive days
Interval intervention group:Use 40IU oxytocin on Day 1, Day 3, Day 5, and Day 7
placebo group:Use 0.9% saline solution continuously for 7 days

18 Years to 65 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: (1) Gender: Unrestricted (2) Age: 18-65 years old (3) DSM-V structured clinical interviews diagnosed patients with schizophrenia for at least 1 year and hospitalized for at least 8 weeks. (4) The type and dosage of antipsychotic medication should be stable for at least 4 weeks. (5) PANSS score = 55; PANSS hallucination and fantasy scores do not exceed a moderate to severe rating (= 4).

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: (1) Intellectual disability (IQ equal to or below 70). (2) Have a history of alcohol or substance addiction in the past year. (3) Hypertension, heart problems, or any major non mental illness or hospitalization. (4) Calgary Depression Scale (score greater than 10).
