Interventions

Dexmedetomidine group :Patients in the Dex group will receive four sprays of dexmedetomidine nasal spray, 100µg in totle, at 15 min before induction in 2 min
Normal saline group :Patients in the NS group will receive four sprays of 0.9% saline nasal spray at 15 min before induction in 2 min

18 Years to 70 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. 18 - 70 years old; 2. ASA (American Society of Anesthesiologists) physical status classification grade I - III; 3. Patients scheduled for elective endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP).

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients with allergies or contraindications to the study medications; 2. Patients with severe bradycardia (heart rate < 50 beats per minute), second-degree or higher atrioventricular block without a pacemaker implanted, sick sinus syndrome, or severe cardiopulmonary insufficiency; 3. Patients who have been using sedatives or opioid drugs for a long time; 4. Those who are difficult to communicate with or who refuse to participate.
