Conditions

thyroid cancer

Interventions

Visualization 1 group:The application of this visualisation technique guided the surgical team and did not intervene in the 'partially visualised' PGs, which were all preserved in situ
Visualization 2 group:Applying this development technique guided the surgical team to perform PA on the poorly developed portion of the 'partially developed' PGs, while preserving the better developed
Control group:Guidance of the surgical team based on the operator's experience

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Participants who visited the First Hospital of Jilin University from December 2021 to December 2023 and were determined by ultrasound or other examinations to have an indication for thyroid surgery and agreed to undergo thyroidectomy and/or lymph node dissection in the central neck area were selected for this experiment; 2. After being fully informed of the advantages of the techniques and related products that may be applied to protect postoperative parathyroid function and the accompanying risks of allergy, infection, etc., and signing an informed consent form, patients were randomly grouped and assigned to the Imaging group A and Imaging group B and the control group.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Those who did not consent to this trial; 2. Those with a history of thyroid surgery; 3. Those with primary or secondary parathyroid disease; 4. Those with hepatic or renal insufficiency or systemic diseases such as hypertension or diabetes mellitus; 5. Those who could not tolerate surgery and those who had contraindications to the application of iodine-related contrast agents.
