Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: (1) Consistent with the diagnosis of periodontal disease with dentition defect; (2) There was no apical tissue lesion in the remaining teeth; (3) At least 2 or more healthy teeth should be retained in one jaw; (4) The patient signs the informed consent form.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: (1) patients with jaw abnormalities; (2) Those with a history of facial surgery; (3) Those who have undergone jaw radiation therapy; (4) Decreased bone density and insufficient bone mass at the site of missing teeth; (5) Those who do not have basic cognitive and behavioural abilities.
