Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Age 18 years or older; 2.Patients with sepsis-induced hypotension or septic shock who require fluid resuscitation; 3.An indwelling central venous catheter placed via the internal jugular or subclavian vein; 4. A predicted ICU stay longer than 48h.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.History of renovascular stenosis, liver cirrhosis or portal hypertension; 2.Patients receiving mechanical circulatory support such as lABP, ECMO; 3.Patients with an infusion of >2L of IV fluid before enrollment; 4.Pericardial effusion,pulmonary embolism or pulmonary hypertension from all causes; 5.Patients who cannot undergo ultrasound examination due to factors such as positioning, skin lesions; 6.Pregnancy.
